This guy has 5 stars in reviews for a very good reason. This man, Brian, is smart. He will come and figure out your problems. He will solve them and his mind is that of a proportionate response to your hopes of getting your problems solved. This guy will solve your problems in a very efficient and detailed manner. He diagnosed the heater not pushing water in the boiler to two causes and was able to demonstrate quickly the problems and also could resolve them immediately. One was electrical and one was hydrologic pressure related. He figured it out quick and I will absolutely use him for any future issues. I'm very impressed.

Every representative was polite and professional, scheduling was fast and convenient and the technician went out of his way to resolve the problem restoring heat as quickly as possible. He and the owner paid great attention to detail!

I had Shrek out a week ago to service the furnace and inspect an intermediate popping noise coming from it while running. Devon and Rob showed up in the service window. They were friendly, polite, and energetic. They had no problem talking to me about the furnace, including individual components and advice on maintaining it, which I appreciate as a first time home owner. They explained every step of the service, why it was important, and showed me all test results. I inquired about heat pumps and Rob was willing to discuss them with me. Before they left, they heard the popping noise and discerned it was no cause for concern.

The next morning, we discovered the furnace was not working. Since it was Saturday, I had to leave a voicemail asking for someone to come out. Brian called me back and came over to investigate as soon as he was able. My boyfriend met him at the door but handed him off to me as I was there for the service the day before. Brian spoke to me without skipping a beat and got to work. Turned out to be a simple mistake during the service, which was easily corrected, and the furnace was working again. Brian was very apologetic and did not ask for additional compensation for a call on a Saturday.

On his way out, he stated he hoped for our business again in the future. I stand by what I said then: I will absolutely have them back to service the A/C unit in the spring, and for all of my HVAC needs. It’s not often you find not one or two, but three specialists who are knowledgeable, agreeable, and honest. I will happily take something so rare nowadays with small mistakes I know we all make in our own professions.

Hired Shrek for 2 jobs and would hire again. Shrek was installing a new gas line to a new detached garage when my furnace went out in the house. The 40+ year old furnace could not be repaired and had to be replaced. We chose to replace the 40+ AC system with the furnace. Shrek was very responsive in getting a quote with options for a new furnace and AC system. They also loaned us a couple of electric heaters to help keep rooms warm during a couple of cool fall nights. The work was completed fairly quickly, and the quality of the installation was very good. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. We will continue to work with Shrek for our HVAC needs.

Shrek has always done phenomenal for us. Timely efficient and work with us on the right setup for our needs. Brian, Devon and Robb do excellent work and were here for a furnace replacement today and had us up quickly and took the time to go over everything with us. Highly recommend their services.

This is my first time using Shrek and I couldn’t be more satisfied. It was just for a furnace cleaning and check, but these guys were friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I even sent a group text to my family and friends about my experience as soon as the gentleman left! They’ve got my vote!

Had Brian out here today for an issue with my furnace not igniting. Came out exactly when he said he would 11-1130 got here at 11:12. Came in and got to work trying to fix my issue in my 30 year old furnace. Brian was very easy to talk to explained everything very well and answered all my questions with legitimate no BS answers. Repair cost 79$ with Valpak coupon. Didn't try to push me to buy a new furnace, didn't try to push parts on me that I didn't need, and didn't try to tell me that different parts weren't working when they clearly were. Other guy told me i would need anywhere between 1200-2200$ worth of work and should just get a new system. And yes Brian said a new system wouldn't be a bad idea since mine is 34 years old. Yet he still sat down there took things apart, cleaned things up and used his experience to properly diagnose and fix the issue. Lets just say always trust your gut, and get a second opinion when something seems fishy. Great job easy 5 stars would recommend to anyone looking for HVAC help.

The Shrek team installed my air conditioner 45 days ago.

I had an old style Carrier 2 Ton unit that used R-22 refrigerant and had a slow leak in the coil. The coil is not made any longer and a re-fill of R-22 would have been cost prohibitive, especially knowing it would end up leaking again.

So it was time to replace the entire unit.

The two gentlemen from Shrek who installed the unit called several times before they arrived and were knocking on my door within minutes of the last call. They obviously cared about my time AND cared about keeping me updated.

They got right to work and had the old compressor, old coil, old refrigerant lines and the 220v feed REPLACED within 4 hours.
I was especially impressed that the team took the time to make sure the replacement pad that the compressor sits on outside was straight, level and perpendicular to the house.

The showed great care in the installation AND obviously took pride in their work.

Now on to the compressor. We purchased the American Standard 3 1/2 ton compressor.

It is so much quieter than the Carrier 2 ton unit was and man this thing keeps us cool!

We compared this years electrical bill to last years electrical bill from the same month. There is a slight reduction in the electrical bill BUT to be fair, this summer is way hotter than last summer.
So maybe the savings will be higher?

In conclusion, there are not may people I would take the time to recommend, but I am so impressed with Shrek and the team.
This is a company you can trust!

Guys were prompt and knowledgeable. Were able to get my AC up and running.

We called Brian on Thursday July 18, 2024 around 5:00 pm and he was in our home, saw the problem, fixed the problem and was gone by 6:00 pm latest. We hired him 2 years ago to install a new air conditioning unit and he was in & out and we had a/c running again in one day! He doesn’t over charge. He explains everything very well. He is quick and professional. 10 out of 10.

They came in and put in a new furnace and central air unit and they did a great job. I'm very happy with the job and would recommend them to anyone.
